Lawn maintenance

A yard you don't have to think about

Mowing, edging and trimming on a set day, every week of the growing season. Clippings get blown off the drive and walks before we leave. Shrubs and hedges can be trimmed on the same visit.

Our clay soil stays wet into May and dries out hard in August. Mowing height and timing are adjusted for both, because cutting too short or too wet is how lawns around here get thin.

Snow plowing · Residential & commercial

When it snows overnight, the driveway should be open by morning

Greener Results runs plow routes through Perrysburg, Toledo and the towns around them every winter. Routes are built around getting drives and lots cleared early, before people head to work and before customers start pulling in.

Spots on the route get set up before the season. If you want to be on it when the first real snow hits, call or text in the fall.

Homes
Driveways plowed out, including the apron the city plow leaves behind at the street.
Businesses
Parking lots, drive lanes and entrances opened up so staff and customers can get in.
Set up ahead
Trigger depth, where the snow goes and any notes about the property are worked out before winter.

Lake Erie can turn a light forecast into a heavy morning. The earlier you're set up, the less you have to think about it.

Landscape & lighting

Beds that look finished, and lights that show them off

New planting beds, overgrown beds pulled out and redone, fresh mulch or decorative stone. Plants are chosen to handle Ohio winters and our heavy clay, and the soil gets worked before anything goes in.

Low-voltage lighting adds path lights along the walk and uplights on the trees and the front of the house. It is easiest to plan both at once, so the wiring goes in with the beds.
